A practical method
A first conversation
A first-conversation record: shared purpose, differences, authority and a possible reversible pilot. Work through the prompts in your own notes. No information is submitted or saved here.
Name the purpose
Each side states the problem, intended participants and result it hopes to learn from. Note where the goals diverge.
Map authority
Identify who is speaking, who may approve, who would deliver and whether a liaison is formally authorized. Do not treat enthusiasm as a mandate.
Limit information
Agree what can be discussed publicly, what needs consent and which records should remain private. Do not paste negotiation details into external AI tools by default.
Draft a pilot boundary
Choose one reversible activity, its success question, effort owner, participant support and a no-fault stop point. Avoid promising a joint venture to describe a trial.
Escalate obligations
Have authorized representatives and qualified legal, tax or data advisers review any cross-border, commercial or intellectual-property terms before commitment.
Record the outcome
- What is the proposed next step, and who owns it?
- What evidence supports it, and what remains unknown?
- What would make you pause or change direction?
- When will the decision be reviewed?
Keep private details in your own records. This is a reading guide, not a submission form.
